Netherlands
History of the Netherlands The Dutch United Provinces broke away from Spain in the late sixteenth century and soon became a major political power because of their strong navy. In the seventeenth century to the nineteenth, the Dutch had many economically profitable colonies throughout the world, particularly in Southern Africa and the Eastern Orient. Although the Netherlands remained neutral in World War I and World War II, they suffered a German invasion and occupation under the Nazi regime in World War II. In recent years, the Netherlands help form the EU and was one of the first to back the euro, which is now the main currency in a large part of Europe. From a Christian standpoint, the Netherlands has a rich background with groundbreaking men and women that have helped reshape the course of Christianity coming from the Netherlands. Today, there are still many vibrant movements of God in the nation, but it has been overrun with perversion and humanism. However, there is a new call to bring the Christian heritage of old into the reality of today.

PI, together with the leadership team there, seek to see a new generation of leaders emerge with a passion for Jesus, His Kingdom, and the lost of their lands. The school will be based in Utrecht.
