The male Blue Hardshell crab of the Chesapeake Bay is an amazing little creature. It
never stops growing! Two to three times a year, it steals away to a safe, rocky ledge and literally
rips itself out of its shell. The problem is its protection, and its home becomes a prison if it
doesn’t shed it’s former form taking on a new one. It’s a painful process but enables it to grow
and to move with greater fluidity in the next phase of life.

Prepare International is doing the Blue Hardshell crab dance again! Josiah has called it
PI 2.0, but I think it’s more like PI 4.0. Our team is now spread across the world; all decisions
are being decentralized; and we’re empowering leaders around the nations to bring the good
news of his kingdom everywhere they deem fit.

Recently, in Kraków, Poland, with Josiah, Brandi and Anna, the rest of our European
team flew in, and we spent three days together for team building, relationship growth,
prayer/listening, and strategizing different regions of the world. The time flew by, and we all
wished we’d had one or two more days together. What a blessing to have a team positioned in
the strategic spots around the world!

I just spent a long weekend in Croatia, where Callie and I have been working for 18 to 19
years. When we found our way into many of the churches there, there was chaos, pain, and
broken relationships filling the landscape. As I boarded my flights home this week, I was so
encouraged by every church I was with. Health, peace, rapid growth, bearing fruit in every
direction! Healing has occurred, and God is being glorified! The church of this nation has
matured beautifully, and the best is yet to come!

Pray for us. Josiah, Callie, and I are daily listening to the Holy Spirit about how to
reconfigure, lead and redeploy our gowing team. And speaking of team: I want welcome Maci
Dean and Faith Arredondo to the Lubbock staff. Maci is being trained to oversee our finances
and will be deeply involved in the worldwide PrayGround movement. Faith is helping with social
media and many other creative things from our Lubbock base. Ladies: we’re so glad you joined
us and together will bear much fruit for our Lord Jesus Christ. PI 4.0!
